Upon completion, you will be able to have:
- A critical understanding of theoretical and model-based analytical methods.
- An appreciation of contemporary schools of thought, and of the different methods of analysis that have been and are used by business economists.
- An ability to apply economic reasoning to business topics.
- An ability to relate differences in economic policy recommendations to differences in the theoretical and empirical features of the economic analysis that underlie such recommendations.
- An ability to discuss, analyse and evaluate government policy and to assess the performance of UK businesses in relation to those of other economies in the global economy.
- An understanding of the verbal, graphical, mathematical and econometric representation of economic ideas and analysis, including the relationship between them.

To enrol in this course, you are required to have a minimum of:
- 5 SPM Credits (including English) or its equivalent and
- 2 A-Level Passes / 2 STPM Principals or
- A recognised Degree or Diploma

You will be exposed to a number of critical areas over 3 years and will be assessed through a combination of assessments and written examinations.
