BAC Graduation Ceremony 2018

The Brickfields Asia College (BAC) Graduation Day 2018 was held on 19 October 2018 at the Sime Darby Convention Centre. Approximately 700 people, including graduates, their families and friends, faculty members and representatives from BAC partner universities attended the event.

The opening address by Mr. Raja Singham, Managing Director of BAC, emphasized the need for graduates to “embrace change and remain ahead of it in order to remain relevant and gain a competitive edge”. Further, he encouraged graduates to “find purpose and contribute in making the world a better place for all”.

Among the highlights of the ceremony were the special achievements of several students. Lim Fang Ni, the recipient of the Malaysian Law Scholarship to King’s College, won two awards for emerging the Overall Top Student in Year 1 and exceptional results for the subject Legal System & Method. Chang Ru Yi won several awards as the UKT Law – Overall Top Student in Year 1 as well as individual subjects such as Contract Law and Criminal Law whereas Aishah binti Norzali was awarded Top Student in Malaysia – AS Level Business.

This year also saw a notable achievement in the field of postgraduate studies. Ranjaniy Mohan, was the sole graduate from the University of the West of Scotland graduating with a Master of Business Administration.

All in all, graduates and their families were beaming with happiness and a sense of accomplishment throughout this momentous occasion.
